Finance professionals, how do you define financial planning and analysis (FP&A) and what does it mean to the organization as a whole?
At FinNext 2018, Jeff Altman, Executive Director, Finance Leadership Development for Verizon Communications Inc.; Gaileon Thompson, CTP, FP&A, Senior Vice President, Global Consumer O&T Finance for Citi; Chris Ortega, Senior Finance Manager for Emarsys North America; and Kirby Lunger, Partner with Performance Architects; were asked to provide their thoughts on what FP&A is to them. FP&A appears to be shifting to a role between finance and operations.
