rsch-16_zanders_pghdrWhen it comes to corporate treasury, concepts like treasury transformation and finance transformation are frequently mentioned. But what comes after transformation? What are corporate treasurers going to do, and what is corporate treasury going to look like five years from now? Beyond Transformation, Treasury Transcending, a new white paper from AFP and Zanders, the Netherlands-based treasury consulting group, addresses these questions.

“The role of the treasurer has changed dramatically, certainly since the financial crisis, but even over the last two or three years it’s changed a lot,” said Craig Martin, Director, Executive Programs and Treasury Practice Lead for AFP. “The white paper delves into many issues: how the role of the treasurer can increase from just the tactical, operational part to being strategic again—and go beyond even being strategic, but being a contributor to the business. That’s what that project is about.”

Treasury Transcending will also be presented in a session at the Executive Institute of the AFP Annual Conference.
