AFP is launching the Digital Finance Academy to provide treasury and finance professionals with the knowledge and resources to prepare for and lead digital transformation. This series of seminars features a robust curriculum that teaches practitioners to master a firm’s data, understand the implications that digital mastery of data has for analytics, and learn the strategic decision-making and critical thinking needed for finance to lead data effectively.

The Digital Finance Academy presents data mastery and analytics from a system agnostic approach and teaches practitioners to excel in any environment that has undergone or needs to undergo a digital transformation.

The five-course program includes:

  • Leading with Data: Design Data Driven Processes
  • Lead Transformation by Mastering Data
  • Developing an Effective Business Analytics Capability
  • Impact Business with Data Visualization
  • Financial Analysis: Critical Thinking and Decision-Making.

“There is no question that ever-evolving technology is reverberating loudly within the finance and treasury community, affecting every single job,” said Jim Kaitz, president and chief executive officer of AFP. “Change is just a matter of when, where and how it affects corporate treasury and finance, and whether the profession will proactively lead the coming changes, or passively react to the unavoidable technological advancements that are already underway.”

For more information about the program and to arrange live and online instructor-led group training exclusive to your team, complete with customized agendas and delivery length, contact Justin Barch, director, corporate sales for AFP, at jbarch@AFPonline.org.
