Description & Learning Objectives

When businesses grow internationally, treasury faces an increasingly difficult challenge to manage global liquidity.  As banking relationships, the number of accounts, currencies handled and cross-border risks proliferate, treasury needs to evaluate the options it has to manage the global position more efficiently. This series of virtual sessions examine the various tools available to treasury to organize itself optimally to manage its cross-border cash.

The first session examines the challenges of managing a global treasury and additional associated risks.  The second session assesses the internal options that are available to treasury for putting in place an optimal structure. The final session discusses the tools and the different banking structures that are used to manage global liquidity more efficiently. Examples are provided throughout how different types of companies manage their global liquidity and each session ends with a practical case study.
