2020 AFP Risk Survey
The 2020 Risk Survey revealed that cybersecurity risks are the most challenging to manage currently (cited by 53 percent of respondents) and that they will continue to be a challenge three years from now (51 percent). The risks that have the greatest impact on earnings in the next three years are strategic and financial risks. Seventy-six percent of treasury professionals are either concerned or very concerned about the upcoming economic uncertainty in the U.S. due to a possible recession. Most companies today are structured to asses risk by a dedicated function or a process through which individual functions assess and report risk, while other companies are more informal in their risk assessment process and only assess risk when the need arises.
AFP thanks Marsh & McLennan for its support of this year’s Risk Survey.
