The Indian economy is expected to evolve rapidly in 2022 and beyond — and the call for knowledgeable and skilled financial planning and analysis (FP&A) professionals has never been greater. These strategic thinkers have risen to the role of essential business partners, and their influence and value are expected to be sought by corporations throughout the APAC region for the foreseeable future. And, with the right credentials, financial professionals in India can expect to rise in their organisations to fill these essential talent gaps.

Seeking to equip India’s financial professionals with the skills and knowledge they need, an exciting new partnership has formed between the Association for Financial Professionals (AFP) and MyLogic.  By pairing the strategic finance leadership framework of AFP’s FPAC certification programme with MyLogic’s world-class learning module platform, corporate professionals will have the tools they need to earn the Certified Corporate FP&A Professional (FPAC) certification — and become financial leaders of the future.

“The partnership with MyLogic gives financial professionals in India the access they need to transform their careers in FP&A and become global strategic finance partners,” said Himashi Soriano, managing director of APAC, the Asia-Pacific arm of AFP. “The path to earning AFP’s FPAC credential helps practitioners to distinguish themselves among their peers and expand their career opportunities.”

The FPAC credential, sponsored by AFP, establishes a set of core competencies for the corporate FP&A profession and addresses areas that are not necessarily covered by a traditional degree, including planning, forecasting and analysis skills combined with an ability to see the overall strategy of the organisation. As it is the only credential specific to FP&A, FPAC credential holders step to the forefront as financial experts, strategic and adept communicators, and trusted advisors to the business.

“MyLogic is excited about the partnership with AFP; it will ensure that the students and professionals from India have the opportunity to participate in unique and specialised programmes such as AFP’s FPAC credential and become professionals in that domain. FP&A opportunities are fast growing in India, and this certification will ensure academic enrichment in this specialised area and a great opportunity for career transformation,” said MyLogic CEO CA Vinod Chandran.
