This month, we have a report from the first meeting of the Stockholm FP&A Club. Jim Kaitz, president and CEO of AFP, and Larysa Melnychuk, founder and secretary of the London FP&A Club, both attended the meeting, which brought together Swedish financial planning and analysis professionals and provided them with an outlet to discuss the latest trends in FP&A. Speaking of FP&A, AFP has recently partnered with Villanova University and Rice University to offer prep courses for the FP&A Certification. Villanova’s course began this month, while Rice’s course launches in May. Also, the AFP Advisors Network looks at how independent consultants can set their pricing, CFO Coach Cindy Craft provides tips on creating a resume that works, Randall Bolten discusses how finance professionals can better communicate quantitive information to their peers, and World Vision's Kathryn Powers provides insights into cash management at global development organizations.
