AFP Payments: NACHA Members Approve Same Day ACH

This month saw NACHA’s voting membership approve Same Day ACH. Corporate treasurers have shown overwhelming support for the initiative, viewing it as a positive step toward modernizing payments in the United States. Nevertheless, it brings with it some risks. We speak with several payments experts who all agree that moving to a faster system will likely result in a spike in ACH fraud—so treasurers and bankers alike need to keep their eyes peeled.
