AFP Chairman Anthony Scaglione Named EVP, CFO of ABM

AFP Chairman D. Anthony Scaglione, CTP, has been appointed executive vice president and chief financial officer of ABM Industries Inc. He previously served as senior vice president, mergers & acquisitions and corporate treasurer.

ABM president and CEO Scott Salmirs said in a statement that Scaglione possesses the strengths needed to drive ABM forward. “In addition to his financial acumen, he has been instrumental in our M&A strategy and has a deep understanding of ABM and the facilities industry,” he said. “His drive and curious nature inspire everyone around him. I couldn’t be more excited about his new role and the value he will add.”

Scaglione succeeds James S. Lusk, who served in the role since 2008. Lusk will remain at ABM for an interim period.

“This appointment is an honor for me at a time of great opportunity for ABM,” Scaglione said. “We are well positioned for success going forward and I look forward to continuing to work to build value for ABM’s clients and investors.”

An AFP member since 2001 and a member of the AFP Board of Directors since 2010, Scaglione has served as Chairman of AFP’s Audit Committee and as a member of its Strategic Planning and Strategic Alliance Committees. He was introduced as Chairman at the AFP Annual Conference last year.

Prior to joining ABM, Scaglione was with CA Inc. as vice president, assistant treasurer. A graduate of Rutgers University with dual honors degrees in finance and accounting, he earned his MBA at Fairleigh Dickinson University. Scaglione is a New York State Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Treasury Professional (CTP®).
