Attendees of the AFP FP&A Forum seek more than just professional development—they’re eager to explore the latest trends and innovations shaping the future of Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A).
Take this opportunity to share your expertise with FP&A professionals by applying to lead an educational session at the 2026 AFP FP&A Forum in Indianapolis, IN. Present your insights, contribute to the community’s collective knowledge and play a key role in advancing the field. Submissions are open through July 18, 2025.
All proposals will be reviewed by the AFP FP&A Forum Planning Task Force, with decision notifications sent in late September 2025. Please ensure your submission meets the outlined requirements on the proposal submission site.
Submission Guidelines:
- You may submit multiple proposals covering different FP&A topics.
- Avoid submitting the same proposal under different educational tracks.
- Each proposal must include at least one confirmed speaker—placeholder names such as "TBD Speaker" will not be accepted.
- When creating a speaker profile, use the speaker’s email, not the submitter’s, as it will be used for session-related communications.
- Proposals must be fully completed to be considered.
We look forward to your submission and the insights you’ll bring to the 2026 AFP FP&A Forum!

PRESENTATION EXPECTATIONS
All speakers must agree to provide a robust, substantive presentation deck to accompany their session, regardless of the format. Panel discussions and/or moderated interviews are required to provide presentations as well that support the discussion of the overall topic and help to summarize the key takeaways for the audience. All presentations must be delivered using the PowerPoint template that AFP provides.
AFP’s mission is to provide unbiased educational content for its members and certification holders, who make up most of the audience. Speakers must not engage in any sales activity during their session. Sales activity is limited to the exhibit hall and the other networking activities AFP provides.
Prohibited Sales Activities Include:
- Product demonstrations of any kind.
- Extensive highlighting of any product or service and contrasting it with others.
- Handing out brochures, flyers or sales takeaways of any kind. The dissemination of such items is reserved for the exhibit hall floor only.
- Conducting sign-in sheets, mass collection of business cards or roll call.
If you have started or already submitted a proposal, you can return to the proposal later, until the close of the submission window, July 18, 2025, to add final edits before final submission.
Please contact Marcia Solomon at [email protected] or call (301) 961-8858 if you have any questions about submitting a proposal.
Speakers are responsible for their own travel arrangements/hotel accommodations. AFP does not pay honoraria for speaking on an educational session at 2026 AFP FP&A Forum. For information on hotels within the AFP block and travel information, click here.
