The Federal Reserve System’s Faster Payments Task Force was formed in 2015 with the mission to “identify and assess alternative approaches for implementing safe, ubiquitous, The Federal Reserve System’s Faster Payments Task Force was formed in 2015 with the mission to “identify and assess alternative approaches for implementing safe, ubiquitous, faster payments capabilities in the United States.”. To ensure diversified perspectives the task force engaged a wide array of over 300 stakeholders who for the past two years have worked hard to identify ten key recommendations for the industry. On July 21 the task force released Part Two of its Final Report: The U.S. Path to Faster Payments: A Call to Action. In this webinar Sean Rodriguez, the Federal Reserve’s Faster Payments Strategy Leader, will be joined by Charles Ellert, a payment strategy manager for Verizon, to share and explain the outcome and the path going forward. We will also discuss possible corporate implications.
