Excel is a tool that every financial planning and analysis (FP&A) professional knows all too well. Some use it for nearly everything, while others would leave it behind if they could. But there have been advances in Excel in recent years that many financial professionals may not know about. A new FP&A guide, underwritten by Vena Solutions, examines the ways in which Excel has evolved, and continues to persevere over more than 30 years. In this companion webinar, we will present case studies of experts on how FP&A practitioners apply Excel or move beyond it, including recent advances, add-ins and third-party solutions/offerings.

Learning Objectives

  • Learn about the advances Microsoft has made in recent years to improve standalone Excel

  • Explore the "extended approach" of using a mixture of Excel and add-ins offered by Microsoft
