AFP Diversity Program
AFP is proud to share the AFP Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Scholarship Program. This program was created to support companies hiring new employees for their treasury and financial planning and analysis (FP&A) functions as part of a DEI initiative.
The program will provide up to 10 scholarships per company. Each scholarship covers the application and registration fees for either the Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) credential or Certified Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis Professional (FPAC) certification, as well as the corresponding Exam Preparation Platform (EPP).
“AFP is committed to helping ensure an environment of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) in the treasury and finance profession,” said AFP Board Chairman Bob Whitaker, CTP. “The AFP board and leadership are proud to create this important initiative as a positive step in support of our member companies and their individual DEI programs.”

A senior finance or human resources officer of the sponsoring company must sign an agreement stating that scholarships will only be used for new hires or internal transfers into treasury or FP&A who have not previously been in the profession.
Company must provide a copy of its DEI program, initiative or policy under which new hires or internal transfers are being made.
Individual candidates must meet all eligibility requirements of the respective certification. Candidates admitted through the AFP DEI Scholarship Program must meet all certification and recertification requirements.
Admittance under the AFP DEI Scholarship Program does not in any way impact the criteria for earning or maintaining the certification.
