AFP 2020 Survey

Treasury and Finance professionals attending the AFP 2020 Virtual Experience report their organizations are willing to restrict the use of paper checks and and embrace digital payments for business-to-business (B2B) transactions. The survey aimed to determine the following:

• The likelihood of organizations moving away from checks and towards electronic payment methods
• The benefits of electronic payments as well as the barriers in adopting them
• Instances of payment fraud at organizations since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The AFP 2020 Survey received a total of 202 responses, of which 156 responses were from corporate practitioners. Responses received from corporate practitioners form the basis of this report.
