Ever ask yourself why you chose the career that you did? Did you just stumble upon it, or did you always know you wanted to be in the treasury and finance field?
On Wednesday, February 8, from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m., AFP will host its first Emerging Leaders webinar. Hear from three members of the AFP Emerging Leaders Task Force: Jared Fruland, CTP, senior financial analyst for Exelon Corporation; Salina M. Morrow, CTP, treasury manager for Children’s Medical Center of Dallas and Stephanie Uhl, CTP, assistant treasurer for Forest City Realty Trust Inc. Perhaps their stories are very similar to yours, and the obstacles they’ve come across are what you face too.
AFP’s Emerging Leaders initiative allows corporate practitioners early in their careers to connect with their peers as they prepare for the challenges of tomorrow. This new community within AFP is intended as a space for treasury and finance professionals 40 and under to share ideas, stay informed on important issues and perfect their skills. With the Emerging Leaders initiative, tomorrow’s finance leaders can attain the tools they need for success—today.
Moderated by Andrew Deichler, AFP’s editorial manager, this exclusive webinar will explore why these three Task Force members chose careers in treasury and finance, and what resources helped guide them along the way. There will also be an opportunity for questions at the end. Registration is free.
