Finance professionals are eager about the impact emerging technologies will have on their function, but we also observe some concern that staff within treasury and finance functions have about becoming obsolete as a consequence. Though practitioners are upbeat about the impact of emerging technologies, implementation at organizations is still low.  

Senior management at companies are willing to adopt emerging technologies, however almost half have experienced roadblocks. Of those reporting their staff are unprepared to work with emerging technologies, the culture of organization appears to be a significant obstacle.
