AFPC Vice-Chair Gill Appointed to Stakeholder Advisory Council of Canadian Payments Association
March 6, 2008 - Bethesda, MD – The Association for Financial Professionals of Canada (AFPC) is pleased to announce that AFPC Vice-Chair Anne Marie Gill has been appointed to serve on the Stakeholder Advisory Council of the Canadian Payments Association. The Canadian Payments Association operates national clearing and settlement systems that facilitate the flow of funds between institutions and mitigate risk to payment system participants.
Ms.Gill, the Treasury Manager for Jacques Whitford, Ltd., has been actively involved with AFPC since its founding and serves as AFPC’s vice-chairman through 2008.
Ms. Gill looks forward to her new role as AFPC’s representative on the Canadian Payments Association’s Stakeholder Advisory Council. She will serve on the Council through March 31, 2010.
