The Association for Financial Professionals Announces Strategic Alliance with Citi for the Third Year in a Row

Citi’s Global Transaction Services business to be Exclusive Partner of Two Prestigious AFP Executive Programs

Bethesda, MD – February 27, 2008 - The Association for Financial Professionals (AFP) announced today that Citi will be the exclusive partner for AFP’s Executive Programs, including AFP’s Global Corporate Treasurers Forum (GCTF) and the Executive Institute at AFP’s Annual Conference for the third straight year. These two prestigious programs provide essential, original and unbiased information to senior-level finance professionals and an open environment for peer-to-peer discussions on current industry topics, cutting-edge ideas and applicable solutions for the treasury and finance profession.

"Corporate treasurers continue to play an increasing strategic role in their organizations, and AFP is committed to providing these senior executives with best-in-class programs," said Jim Kaitz, President and CEO of AFP. "We are especially honored to have Citi as a partner for these two prestigious events."

"As a recognized global provider of award winning treasury services Citi is pleased to be working with AFP, an organization known for its industry knowledge and excellence," said Julie Monaco, Head of North America, at Citi’s Global Transaction Services. "This partnership with AFP allows us to underscore our leadership in North America and reinforce our commitment to the financial community through these programs."

  • Global Corporate Treasurers Forum, a two-day in-depth exploration of the challenges, risks and opportunities involved in managing an international treasury for treasurers, chief financial officers, controllers, VPs of finance and assistant treasurers, (May 19-21, 2008 in Chicago, IL), and
  • Executive Institute at the 2008 AFP Annual Conference, two half-days of strategic content and speakers focused on high-impact issues for senior-level practitioners, (October 19-22, 2008 in Los Angeles, CA).
