AFP Launches New Standardized Request for Proposal (RFP) Resource Center
Bethesda, MD - August 15, 2006 - The Association for Financial Professionals today launched its new RFP Resource Center. The RFP Resource Center provides complimentary access to AFP's suite of Standardized Requests for Proposals (RFPs) for its members.
RFP templates are currently available electronically to AFP members for: Automatic Clearing House, Controlled Disbursement, Custody Services, Depository Services, Disbursement Outsourcing, Electronic Banking and Information Reporting, Electronic Data Interchange, Global Treasury Services, Merchant Card Services, Paycard Services, Purchasing Cards, Retail Lockbox, Short-Term Investment Management, Treasury Workstations, Wholesale Lockbox and Wire Transfer.
"AFP's Standardized Requests for Proposals (RFPs) have been the industry standard for more than a decade. By customizing the RFPs to reflect their unique needs, companies will ensure efficient, quality responses from banks", said Jeff Glenzer, CTP, Director of Treasury Services at AFP. "We are pleased to provide our members with this valuable resource to aid in effectively managing their bank relationships."
Since AFP began offering standardized RFPs in 1996, thousands of corporate treasury professionals have used the standardized RFPs to help them draft effective requests for proposals that provide the right information and ask the right questions to ensure that they receive appropriate and quality responses from potential providers. AFP's standardized RFPs are widely used and recognized as the standard by the treasury profession.
