AFP 300 Honor Awarded to Highest Ranking Officials in Treasury and Corporate Finance

August 25, 2005 - Bethesda, MD – The Association for Financial Professionals (AFP) announced today the AFP 300 – a list of some of the most senior-ranking professionals in the fields of treasury and corporate finance.

The 300 financial professionals were selected from more than 100,000 corporate practitioners in first quarter 2005. Selection was based on strict criteria of professional qualifications, title, and success throughout their careers. In addition, all practitioners were required to have earned the Certified Treasury Professional/Certified Cash Manager designation, as proof of industry knowledge.

“The recipients of the 2005 AFP 300 award were selected from a range of corporations, agencies, government, academia and nonprofits. After meeting the rigorous AFP 300 award standards, we are pleased to announce the best in the treasury and corporate finance industries from this past year," said Jim Kaitz, president and CEO of AFP.

The AFP 300 program, sponsored by Mellon bank and in its second year will acknowledge this year’s winners in a special executive issue of AFP Exchange magazine and at a special ceremony at the 2005 AFP Annual Conference, October 9 through 12, in San Antonio, Texas.
