Chesapeake System Solutions, Inc.and Association for Financial Professionals Announce Agreement to Provide AFP Service Codes

Bethesda, MD – February 16, 2005– The Association for Financial Professionals (AFP) and Chesapeake System Solutions have signed an agreement that licenses Chesapeake to include the 2004 AFP Service Codes CD-ROM in its product offerings. The inclusion of the AFP Service Codes will further enhance Chesapeake's SmartAnalysis software by providing customers with a vital set of reference codes that will aid in reviewing and comparing all the different banking fees and services included on any account analysis statement.

The AFP Service Codes are the industry standard for identifying balances and service charges that appear on bank account analysis statements. Account analysis statements are detailed invoices of charges for bank services used by commercial banking customers. Companies that have automated this process have realized significant savings by correcting bank errors, restructuring bank relationships and creating administrative efficiencies.

“Chesapeake has a long history of leadership in treasury operations software,” said AFP President and CEO Jim Kaitz. “We are excited that Chesapeake will be implementing the AFP Service Codes, providing corporate financial professionals with a more effective method of managing their bank relationships.”

Chesapeake offers the total end-to-end treasury solution, seamlessly integrating cash management with reconciliation, account analysis and compliance. Chesapeake shares information across all applications, allowing customers to better manage treasury operations. Chesapeake’s success is based on its powerful combination of customer/industry-driven software, personalized customer support and advanced technology. Chesapeake’s single-vendor solution includes SmartTreasury?, a modular desktop and web-based treasury workstation, Total Reconciliation Solution (T-Recs?), a comprehensive reconciliation and deposit verification system, SmartAnalysis?, which helps you quickly confirm your bank is fulfilling its obligations by analyzing trends and comparing services across your banks and Unclaimed Property Compliance System (UPCS?), which automates unclaimed property reporting for all 54 jurisdictions. “We are pleased to partner with the AFP in helping corporate treasury teams take total control of their banking relationships by assuring SmartAnalysis users gain maximum benefit from the banking services they truly need, and doing so at the most competitive rates,” said Chesapeake’s President, Peter Vogelberger.
