Learning System: Treasury Course
Web-and-text-based
program built on the CTP body of knowledge. Useful for general professional
development as well as CTP exam preparation. Available in a self-directed or instructor-led format:

Self-Directed
Printed study modules accompany testing and interactive applications found
on the Web. Available to individuals or groups, with a group reporting function
to monitor progress. Learn more
Instructor-Led
Participants receive print modules and Web access as with self-directed
course, as well as copies of PowerPoint slides used by instructor. Three options
are available:

College/University Course - Participating Institutions 30-hour, non-credit certificate program. Approved for up to 36 CPE credits.

Instructor-Led
with Your Own Facilitator
An employee with the CTP or CCM designation may lead the course for the
company. Facilitator receives course overview, instructor's manual, and
PowerPoint slides on CD-ROM.

Learning System: Cash Management Fundamentals
This Web-and-text-based
course is designed to provide a common foundation of cash management knowledge
across the organization. Recommended for entry-level treasury practitioners,
financial professionals returning to the profession, bankers and other financial
service providers who serve corporate clients, and customer service or operations
staff who support cash management systems and processes.
Self-Directed
A 12 - 15 hour curriculum designed to get staff up to speed quickly, combines
a printed textbook with Web-based testing components and a four-part, real world
scenario-based case study to give users a grounding in the essential tools and
terminology used in managing corporate cash. Available to individuals or groups,
with a group reporting function to monitor progress. Learn more
Instructor-led College/University Course
Beginning in Fall, 2004, select universities across the United States will
offer the AFP Learning System: Cash Management Fundamentals instructor-led
course as a 10 - 12 contact-hour noncredit course through their professional
development or continuing education areas. Individuals can collaborate with
their peers during evening or weekend classes. This learning method blends face-to-face
instruction with the Web based learning tools to provide a robust education
experience. A list of schools offering the course will be available Summer of 2004.
AFPOnline CE - COMING SOON!
AFP is pleased to announce a new series of e-learning courses designed for CTPs/CCMs, looking for low-cost, convenient continuing education resources. AFP-developed offerings are selected from AFP's annual conference sessions and cover a broad range of treasury and finance topics. Courses from other educational providers on topics important to today's treasury professionals will be available also. Courses are approved for CTP/CCM re-certification and provide the opportunity to earn from 2-5 credits each.

Treasury Management (CTM) Program
The CTM Program is offered at various colleges and universities for enrolled undergraduate
students majoring in finance or a business-related field. This program is designed
to introduce students to the many career options in the finance profession. It
also provides students with the analytical expertise and practical knowledge necessary
to excel in finance professions.
