Course Description
This is the first in a series of presentations focusing on high-priority issues identified by the Payments Advisory Group (PAG), AFP's corporate practitioner leadership group for payments. The presentations review the key points of discovery identified and discussed during the three PAG meetings held each year. This first session will cover the following topics:
- Swift services targeted to corporates. Takeaways include who should consider Swift for Corporates and why, the use of 3SKey and similar authentication services, and
- Remittance Processing. Understand what the Remittance Coalition is doing to remove obstacles corporates encounter in trying to associate remittance information with electronic payments to remove paper/manual processing and achieve 100% STP.
- Same-Day ACH. Focus will be on the Expedited Processing and Settlement (EPS) initiative from NACHA. Takeaways include advantages as well as expected impacts on corporates-the deadlines,
operational/IT changes necessary and potential adverse impacts on how you manage your cash position.
