This course introduces the experienced Excel user to the more advanced data analysis features of the product including functions, macros, pivot tables and the Visual Basic for Applications language. Through hands-on examples, participants will learn to extract business insights from their spreadsheet applications and enhance their analytical capabilities of treasury related applications.

Michael Hunstad, PhD
Adjunct Professor of Mathematical Programming , Illinois Institute of Technology
Dr. Hunstad has been designing and building cash flow forecasting models for almost 15 years. He began his career as a consultant with Treasury Strategies and went on to become a Principal and head of the Cash Flow Forecasting and Analytics practice areas. He is currently an adjunct professor of applied mathematics and econometrics at the Illinois Institute of Technology and the Vice President and Head of Qualitative Research at North Trust Global Investments.
Dr. Hunstad holds and MBA in finance, a PhD in mathematical and statistical modeling and is finishing a second PhD in economics. He has published more than 20 articles on cash forecasting.
