Q: What is the Association for Financial Professionals?

A: The Association for Financial Professionals in Bethesda, Maryland, supports more than 14,000 individual members from a wide range of industries throughout all stages of their careers in various aspects of treasury and financial management. AFP is the preferred resource for financial professionals for continuing education, financial tools and publications, career development, certifications, research, representation to legislators and regulators, and the development of industry standards.

Q: Can third party recruiters post with AFP?

A: Yes. Executive search consultants, contingency and retainer firms may post open positions with the AFP Online Job Center and have access to the resume database.

Q: Do you offer discounts to advertising agencies that post on AFP?

A: No. Advertising agencies that post positions for their clients do not receive a percentage off the posting price. We ask that once the agency has registered with AFP, that they forward the login and password to their client, so that they may manage their account and search for resumes.

Q: Do I have access to search resumes?

Q: What is the typical response rate on positions posted with AFP?

A: Responses to job postings will vary depending upon the location, title, company, and job description.

Q: How much activity does the AFP Online Job Center receive?

A: The AFP Online Job Center is a niche site and is open to ALL financial job seekers, including AFP members. It draws the attention of industry professionals and passive job seekers. The job center receives over 450,000 hits per month from first time and repeat job seekers.
