Treasury and Finance professionals are in strategic positions within their companies. As such, they often find themselves in a position where they must negotiate on behalf of their company or sometimes, their department. Negotiation training should no longer be restricted to certain staff within a company. Instead, every finance employee should be equipped to advocate for their needs and for their company’s needs. Join Chris Voss from the Black Swan Group, as he discusses negotiation tactics he learned as the former top negotiator for the FBI, which you can utilize in your next corporate meeting. He will discuss the various scenarios treasury and finance staffs commonly find themselves participating in, and how his strategies can be used for greatest effect.

Learning Objectives

  • Learn Chris Voss’  “Negotiation 9” and understand their use in a corporate finance setting

  • Understand common scenarios that take place in negotiations-especially in a finance setting

  • Walk away with tips and strategies to use at work, either internally or externally, for use in your next negotiation
